Wolcott’s Versatility Horses and Training specializes in training and selling high-quality all-around riding and driving horses. Our comprehensive six-week training program focuses on creating safe, dependable equine partners by starting from the ground up. This confidence is further reinforced through extensive trail rides and challenges on our on-site obstacle course, ensuring each horse is ready for diverse environments and experience.

I had a wonderful experience with Dayton Wolcott and his sister, Brittany. My dad and I flew out to visit a Friesian cross horse I was interested in who was “exactly as he was advertised” with expert training (In the Clinton Anderson Aussie natural horsemanship training style) and our horse was completely healthy & sound and such a calm boy— stunning too. Dayton is an expert horse trainer and produces excellent quality horses (sound and safe & very versatile).
We flew out to NY, spent 2 days out visiting at his place riding & getting to know “Sage”…. when we were done with a PPE (that passed perfectly from a local vet) DAYTON also helped us organize the next step a cross country professional transport home MN (and had good connections). Our transporter was back by the weekend with our boy…. He was Healthy, sound and completely calm. Dayton and his staff were honest, helpful, kind and I just felt all around we were treated well and had a such “5-star experience” for what is for me a: “once in a lifetime purchase.”
SAGE is beautiful 7/8 friesian cross and is home and is my dream “heart horse” —the kind you wait all your life for and dream about….

I couldn’t be happier with my recent purchase.
On November 11, I picked up my new horse, and they absolutely delivered on everything I asked for. I needed a shorter horse around 14hh that was broke, broke, broke—and that’s exactly what I got!
He’s been at my place for less than a week, and after giving him a couple of days to settle in and get comfortable with his new surroundings, I took him out for a relaxed trail ride on my property. He was alert, responsive, and incredibly well-behaved—taking every sight, sound, and step in stride like a true professional.
